STORY
The Brainerd Lakes Area Women of Today are a non profit group for women in the Brainerd Lakes Area. We do projects such as Choose Your Happy Fundraiser, ECFE Easter party, Flock Your Friends Flamingos and Concessions at The Great Pumpkin Festival. We donate to the Women’s Shelter, Relay for Life, The Girl Scouts, Local Families in Crisis, the food shelf, Habitat for Humanity, Camp Confidence, Local Animal Shelters, The Youth Center, Santa for Seniors, The RadioThon to End Child Abuse, and so much more.
Anyone is welcome to attend a meeting or a membership event to find out more about us. We are a fun and energetic group of ladies ranging in age, some married, some single, some mothers, some business women. We all do what we can, when we can. You only have to be as involved as you want to be. We do our part to help the community and have fun while doing it. As the last line of our motto reads: “May we leave this world a better place because we lived and served within it.”
